WOW!! What a great evening with Canterbury born and former ninth series X-Factor finalist (2012), Lucy Spraggan. Lucy was the first act to score a Top 40 album before the live shows even aired!! Now with her 5th album on sale, a mix of acoustic, indie and folk pop.

Take 300 vocal fans,  a former railway booking hall, the type found in Harry Potter and nestled in Dover Harbour, add  a room full of smoke from the machines engulfing the stage and piercing lights. This is an old school music gig of the finest.

With 300 fans, singing and hanging on to every note, especially when she covered "The Pogues - 500 miles". We set to work with two Nikon D5's with a mix of lenses, Nikon F2.8 24-70, F2.8 70-200 and our favourite for this type of venue the phenomenal Nikon F2 200mm. Yes, a slight sledgehammer to crack a nut, but a super fast lens with great low light capability, the combination allowing us to get right onto the stage from the rear and side of the hall! As they say No flash guns where used or harmed in the making of these images!
