Wedding Photography Style.

From early beginnings I have photographed weddings professionally, starting with film and later moving into digital imagery. Having taken sometime out to pursue other interest I further developed my style and launched ENCADE at the National Wedding Shows in early 2018 (Olympia and Excel). Since then as a brand we have gone from strength to strength including photographing many celebrities on route.

My style is best seen within the images shown, as these speak for themselves! Both observing and documenting in a style embedded in portraying the story telling, in a way that can be described as natural documentary. Observing the natural events expressions and smiles as your wedding day unfolds.

This is so very true for wedding photography, good wedding photography encompasses all genres of photography, from dim lit ceremonial rooms, to the very brightest of sunny days. Trust in your wedding photographer is key to helping you relax, with confidence comes natural smiles. Whether it is that once in a lifetime chance to capture the wedding ring ceremony, or, to that nervous first kiss when the celebrant says “you may now kiss the bride”! Or the eagerly anticipated moment you throw the bouquet to the next anticipating bride to be, or, capturing the romance of your first dance!

It is important to know you have these moments saved for evermore. You will also want to know that your photographer has the patience required, to not stress YOU the Bride on the wedding morning, whilst you are getting ready but to give a few reassuring words to enable those natural beautiful photos, so eagerly and nervously wanted.

We build our couples TRUST!

By ensuring we meet all Bride and Grooms socially for a coffee or drink, normally, at least twice before the wedding day. This ensures we both understand exactly what you want, giving you, perfect images of your perfect day.

We look to capture all the images you would want, whilst suggesting some you may have not thought about, from the rings being placed on to stunning sunset portraits, we work unobtrusively in the background, photographing both you and your guests, whilst naturally inter acting with each other, building up a full memory of your day in our timeless images, all edited in the style that attracted you to be reading this.

We have noted that many photographers state this, but their images are often a set menu with a few individual photos taken between the staged ones. Ask to view one of our full wedding albums and you will find this is not the case, for our couples!

Friends and family with cameras, no problem, we love helping your guests get the best out of their camera or phone camera images, as we feel this is so important to our special couples as it represents them.

Photographing and documenting a wedding is a fine balance between knowing what is expected to happen, whilst guessing what might actually happen next, whilst, being ready to capture that one special moment, that look or sparkle in the eye, or capturing the general enjoyment and laughter of your guests.

Our greatest compliment and guarantee to you is when we hear “Oh we didn’t see that happen”, from you our Bride and Grooms, when you first see the images, all will tell you the day went so fast, real memories come from looking at photos of that moment in time.

To Pose or Not to Pose?

It is true most people do not like their photo being taken (ignoring selfies). Your wedding day is exactly that, a wedding day! It is a once in a lifetime celebration of two coming together as one. You will therefore want to spend the day celebrating with your chosen guests and loved ones, we want you to just enjoy your day, knowing in the back of your mind that we are taking care of capturing those images that best represent and record your superb wedding.

Yes, we always make time to get any group photos and any beautiful portraits you may require, but this will all be agreed prior to the day. The rest is us capturing those special moments and interactions of your guests. We do not replicate or stage these we just let them unfold naturally!

What happens if it is a bit dark in the venue?

No problem, we work with all kind of light, as a professional photographer we have photographed in all scenarios, using natural light where we can, but using flash as and when required. This ensures we capture those images and memories that best represents your day.

This not only enhances the ambient lighting within the venue but helps build the atmosphere created by your evening entertainment.
